Most of students always ask me, “how to improve my Spoken English.” I always answer that you must know all grammar rules in the
beginning. English grammar is a base of English language. If you try to ignore
it, you will never be fluent in it. You must learn all grammar rules carefully.
In today’s lesson I am going to teach you all about English tenses that is an
important part of English grammar.
The tenses of a verb shows the time of an action or event;
as,
- She writes a letter to his father.
- She wrote a letter yesterday.
- She will write a letter tomorrow.
As I mentioned that verb shows the time of an action or
event, in sentence 1, the verb write refers to present time. In sentence 2, the
verb wrote refer to past time. In sentence 3, the verb will write refers to
future time.
